★ Did You Know?

Each year, about 200,000 pregnant women in the U.S. are involved in police-reported car crashes.

Placental abruption is a leading injury in those crashes. STORC exists to close the gap between the first contraction and the hospital doors.

A Note From the Founder

Hello friend,

This month I keep returning to a single truth: the trip to birth is part of maternal care, and for too long no one has owned it. Watching our team grow and our platform take real shape has reminded me exactly why we started — and who we're doing this for.

Here's what's been happening at STORC this month, and one way you can help us move the needle.

With purpose and gratitude, Visionary Blu Barnes-Jackson Founder & CEO, STORC Healthcare Technology

Funding Raise

We're building the round that saves lives

STORC is actively raising our pre-seed round to bring our patented platform to the mothers who need it most. Every dollar invested moves us closer to a world where no pregnant woman faces a vehicle emergency without protection.

This month's update: We're in active conversations with mission-aligned angels and maternal-health funds, and finalizing our pilot roadmap with partners across the DMV region.

We are raising a pre-seed SAFE at an $8M–$10M valuation cap. Interested in investing — or know someone who should? Reach out at info@storcapp.com or simply reply to this newsletter. NDAs are in place. We welcome aligned, mission-driven investors.

The Ask

One thing you can do this month

I don't believe in overwhelming people with a long list of requests. Each month I'll share just one specific, actionable way you can help STORC move forward. One ask. That's it.

This month's ask: Share storcapp.com with one person in your network who cares about Black maternal health.
